Lyon Conveyancing was first established in 1968 by Margaret Lyon as MA Lyon Pty Ltd. Margaret was a huge influence in the conveyancing industry, with warm stories still shared with past clients and professionals to this day.
In 1996 the business was then passed onto Norman Russel who then changed the name to Lyon Conveyancing Pty Ltd, which we all know it today.
After 40 years in the industry Norman Russell took a step back and Mark Duffield became director.
Norman Russell officially retired and Lyons had the honor of welcoming Paula Main (Margaret’s Daughter) as a partner to the firm.
Paula Main was an amazing ambassador for the conveyancing industry, like her mum. She was one of the early adopters of PEXA and always helped her fellow conveyancers in transactions.
In 2021, Lauren Racioppi joined Mark Duffield in becoming a Director of Lyon Conveyancing and they moved the firm to its new home in Collinswood, ‘the big white building’ on the corner of Galway Avenue and North East Road.
In 2024 Mark Duffield decided it was time to take a step back from conveyancing. Mark helped Lyons become the power house Conveyancing firm it is today. With great guidance and knowledge he passed the torch onto Lauren to continue a great legacy with more to come.
At the end of 2024 Audra Mazurek of SPAA Conveyancing and Lauren Racioppi of Lyon Conveyancing decided to take the step of merging our two prominent conveyancing firms.
A little bit of background, SPAA Conveyancing is a collaboration of AJ and Associates and Sue Phillips and Associates, a conveyancing firm that was established over 30 years ago. Lyon Conveyancing is proud and honoured to be working with another likeminded conveyancing firm that holds our values of old fashion customer service, understanding the importance of our clients being our family and the encouragement to adopt new systems for the future of Conveyancing.
We are both excited to move the two companies into another level of conveyancing.
